PRP uses a concentration of your own platelets to support thinning hair. Exosome treatments use growth-factor rich preparations aimed at scalp and follicle signalling. Neither replaces a transplant for advanced bald areas, but both can support early loss or sit alongside a surgical plan at MHB Clinic.

What is Hair PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is made from a small sample of your own blood. The platelet-rich portion is prepared and placed into the scalp where thinning is active. Because it is autologous, it uses your biology rather than a donor product.
PRP suits people with early to moderate thinning who still have miniaturising hairs to support. It is also used around transplant journeys when your surgeon recommends it as part of aftercare or native-hair support.
What are hair exosomes?

When a transplant is the better next step
If an area is smooth and bare, regenerative treatments cannot grow hair where the follicle is gone. FUE (or FUT when indicated) moves your own permanent follicles into that zone. PRP or exosomes may still support surrounding hair afterwards.
